Video making banned in PIA flights

ISLAMABAD: Video making has been banned in Pakistan International Airline (PIA).

According to the details, a meeting of National Assembly (NA)’s  standing committee on rules of procedure and privileges was held on Thursday.

The meeting discussed a complaint submitted by the NA member Ramish Kumar regarding video making and misbehavior resorted to politicians during PIA flight on October 15.

The chairman of the committee said that politicians were blamed at ridiculed for mistakes of others.

Ramish Kumar said that whenever he called to MD PIA, he did not get any reply.

The committee has imposed ban making of video during the PIA flights.

It is pertinent to mention here that in September last year a group of incensed passengers prevented a top politician from boarding a flight after they were kept waiting on the runway for two hours until he arrived.

A video clip shows Senator Rehman Malik, the country’s former Interior Minister being ejected from the Islamabad-bound Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight.

Dr Ramesh Kumar Wakwani, a Member of National Assembly, was jeered in his seat and also forced to leave the plane.
When Senator Malik finally appears, the angry passengers immediately begin hurling abuse forcing the politician to hurriedly retreat to the terminal building.

‘You should go back,’ shouts one. ‘You should apologise to these passengers. You should be ashamed of yourself, 250 passengers have suffered because of you. It is your fault, sir.’

Mr Malik initially appears to remonstrate but his comments are barely audible as they are drowned out by the furious passengers.
