Saeed Ajmal decides not to bowl till becoming effective

LAHORE: Banned spinner Saeed Ajmal on Thursday expressed his aims for not bowling till completely becoming effective as earlier.

Saeed Ajmal while talking to reporters in Lahore expressed his hopes that his bowling action would be cleared in upcoming official bowling action test by International Cricket Council (ICC).

‘I want to play role as frontline bowler in the national team,’ he said. Ajmal said that he practiced a lot on carrom and seam up balls to make it perfect in accordance to the legal bowling angle.

He admitted that he took decision not to play the World Cup 2015 due to his suspicious bowling action.

It is noteworthy to mention here that International Cricket Council (ICC) had given date to banned off-spinner Saeed Ajmal for official reassessment of his bowling action.

According to reports, the official test of Saeed Ajmal will be taken on January 24th in Chennai biometric lab. If he is unable to clear the test this time he will face one year ban from ICC.
