Justice Faisal Arab recommended to be appointed as CJ SHC

 

ISLAMABAD: The meeting of the supreme judicial commission, formed for the appointment of judges on Thursday, has been announced to be held on January 28. The commission has been recommended to appoint Justice Faisal Arab as CJ Sindh High Court (SHC).

The CJ has recommended Justice (retd) Riaz Ahmed Khan to be appointed as the Chief Justice of the Federal Shariat Court of Pakistan. Chief Justice Sindh High Court Justice Maqbool Baqir has been recommended for appointment as the Supreme Court (SC) judge.

The judicial commission comprises of Justice Jawad S Khawaja, Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, Justice Saqib Nisar and Justice Asif Saeed Khosa.
