LAHORE: The District Administration of Lahore has set up an emergency control room at District Co-ordination Officer’s (DCO) office in the wake of the prevailing petrol shortage in the city.
Consumers and citizens can dial the emergency number 042-99214191 to report shortage of petrol at any fuel stations.
DCO Capt Muhammad Usman claimed that more petrol is being supplied to fuel stations in Lahore for the past three days than is needed.

He claimed that 160 petrol pumps were being supplied with petrol in Lahore as of now, while 142 remain closed. He also said that 87 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) filling stations in the city are being provided gas.
The DCO said that 11 petrol pumps in Lahore have been designated for emergency services. About 3 million litres of petrol is being supplied everyday to fuel pumps in Lahore, he added.
