Pakistan committed to resolve all outstanding issues with India says Sartaj Aziz

ISLAMABAD: Advisor to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz says Pakistan remains committed to a meaningful, sustained and result-oriented dialogue with India to resolve all outstanding issues.

He was speaking at the concluding session of conference ‘Ideas Conclave 2015’ organized by the Jinnah Institute in Islamabad on Wednesday.
He said India suspended secretary-level talks with Pakistan, and now its New Delhi’s turn to resume the stalled dialogue process with Islamabad for the resolution of bilateral issues. 

Condemning the incidents of ceasefire violations along Line of Control and Working Boundary, the advisor said these violent acts show Indian nefarious designs towards Pakistan.
The advisor said building a peaceful and friendly relations with all neighboring countries, including Afghanistan is a cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign policy.   He said Pakistan is pursuing a policy of non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries.
He said Pakistan supports an inclusive Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace and reconciliation process, which is vital for achieving long-term peace, stability and progress in Afghanistan.
Sartaj Aziz said a peaceful, stable, united and prosperous Afghanistan is vital for peace and stability in the region.
In his addrress, former Foreign Secretary Najmuddin Shaikh said Pakistan and Afghanistan needed to work together to deal with common threats like terrorism and extremism.
 Afghanistan Ambassador to Pakistan Janan Mosazai reiterated the resolve that Afghan soil would not be used against Pakistan and any other neighboring country.
