LAHORE: A religio-political party, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), website on Monday night defaced by hackers emerged with names, Kai-H4xOrR and hAxOr tr0jAn, claiming it the protests against JI and Sirajul Haq over alleged support for terrorism and the Taliban insurgence.
JI website was showing profanity laced messages some videos and pictures claiming ‘JI-Taliban links’ by the hackers. Siraj-ul-Haq’s photo with Faqir Muhammad during a funeral prayer was also uploaded on the web.
Videos against Jamaat-e-Islami that include 14-minute interview of Haider Farooq Mudoodi and former Mayor Karachi Mustafa Kamal were also placed on the page where he was linking Jamaat-e-Islami with Al-Qaeda and 9/11 planners.
However, the website has been restored by the political party’s web department but later vanished from the link as far.
