No petrol shortage in Karachi clarifies PSO spokesman

KARACHI: Spokesman for Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has said that there is no crisis of petrol in the metropolis.

The spokesman further added petrol dealers statement that petrol pumps have been closed due to shortage is based on lie.

The PSO has been providing supply of petrol as per dealers demand, the spokesman added.

The city has two oil refineries and there is no any shortage or crisis of petrol in the city.

The PSO spokesman has issued clarification amid news of closure of 30 percent of petrol pumps in the city.
