Corps Commander Peshawar visits Afghanistan

PESHAWAR: Lieutenant General Hidayatur Rehman, Corps Commander Peshawar, visited Afghanistan and met his counterpart in the neighboring country.

According to ISPR press release, representatives of Afghan Border Police and ISAF were also present during the meeting.
Matters related to border security came under discussion. During the meeting ways and means were also discussed to further enhance the existing border coordination mechanism, the press release said.

Lieutenant General Nasir Khan Janjua commander Southern command is also scheduled to visit Afghanistan on Wednesday. He will also meet his counterpart across the border.
These visits are aimed to enhance ongoing military to military relationship between the two countries.
