27 high-profiles shot dead in Karachi in 19 days

KARACHI:At least 27 high-profile persons including three doctors, government officers, 16  police officials and two rangers’ officials have been shot dead in Karachi in 19 days of January, 2015 and the law enforcement institutions have filled to maintain law and order in the city.

According to details, target killings are ongoing in the city of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and target killings of high-profile people are in progress.
The protection of the citizens in Karachi has become challenge for them and the person who leaves his home in the morning; there is no guarantee that he will come back alive to his home.

The locals say that the government, police and other law enforcement institutions have failed to establish law and order in the city. They said that people are being killed in broad day light.
As many as 16 police officials, two rangers’ officials, three doctors, two government officers, three workers of political parties, one security guard, one woman and one child were shod dead in 19 days of January, 2015.
So far, no adequate measures are visible on the part of the police officials for their protection while on the other hand, target killings are in progress in the areas of central district and the west, which is question mark on the performance of the security institutions.
