Violations on LoC by India creating hindrance in war against terrorism: Pak army 

LONDON: Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa has said that violations on the line of control by the India are creating problems in the war against terrorism, saying that everyone has to play role for establishing peace in the region.

While briefing the British Think-tank in London on Thursday on the on-going military operation Zarb-e-Azb, Asim Saleem Bajwa said that Pakistan cannot remain oblivious of the incidents occurring in India.

He said that the Kashmir issue is the main hurdle in way of peace between Pakistan and India, saying that Pakistan forces are carrying out indiscriminate action against the terrorists.

Director General Inter Service’s Public relations said that the Pakistan Army is conducting an indiscriminate operation against all banned outfits and extremist organizations.
He said that the operations against terrorists including that in North Waziristan are continuing successfully. He expressed a resolve to continue the operations until the elimination of terrorism from the country.
Asim Saleem Bajwa said that the attack on Karachi Airport was the turning point after which the Pakistan Army launched operation against terrorists. He further said that they would not let Pakistani soil to be used against any country.
DG ISPR said that India is making it difficult for Pakistan to counter terrorism. He said that India is continuously violating the border agreement and it wants to deviate Pakistan’s attention from its struggle for peace.
He said that Prime Minsiter Nawaz Sharif made all-out efforts to better relation with India and his counterpart Narendra Modi also met him in this regard.
He said that India suspended the secretary-level talks. Pakistan had also offered India to hold talks on DG level. DG ISPR said that India is making wrong allegations on Pakistan.
He said that the Kashmir issue is a big hurdle in the peace making struggles of Pakistan and India.
