LAHORE: Following the announcement of retirement by Misbah-ul-Haq and Shahid Afridi after World Cup 2015, now new debate started who will lead the Green-Shirts after the mega event.
According to sources, four names are considers by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to lead the team after mega event in One Day Internationals (ODI).

The names includes Sohaib Maqsood, Ahmed Shahzad, Asad Shafiq and Umar Akmal.
However, Sohaib Maqsood is most likely to become the captain of One-day side due to reference of  current skipper Misbah-ul-Haq.
PCB Chairman Shehryar Khan, Coach Waqar Younis  and chief selector Moin Khan also considering Misbah’s choice and Sohaib will be observed in the mega event as well.
On the other hand Shahid Afridi backs Ahmed Shahzad for captaincy while Asad Shafiq and Umar Akmal are also in the consideration.
