ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday announced the schedule of its demonstrations in the provincial capitals of the country to reactivate workers for anti-government protests.
PTI central information secretary Shireen Mazari announced complete schedule of different demonstration to be organised in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar.
According to report, ‘dharna convention’ would be held in Islamabad on January 18 while PTI Karachi chapter will hold workers convention on February 1, February 8 in Lahore and February 15 in Peshawar.
Earlier on January 12, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan announced to organise ‘Dharna Convention’ on January 18 at D-Chowk Islamabad, the federal capital of Pakistan.
Imran Khan while addressing a press conference at his residence Bani Gala said that the political party will announce its next strategy at ‘Dharna Convention’ if the government failed to fulfill its promise to form ‘impartial’ judicial commission to probe alleged vote rigging in 2013 general election.
