Reckless driving turns wedding into mourning, kills seven in Hub

HUB: A mini bus carrying wedding guests overturned near Uthal area on Sunday, leaving seven people dead and 18 others wounded. Four children are among the seven victims. The condition of five injured persons is critical. Most of the deaths were occurred due to shortage of oxygen in hospital.

The bus was traveling to Karachi from Ornach town of Khuzdar district when it met the accident near Dubai Mosque in Othal. Bridegroom is also among those injured in the accident. Police blamed reckless driving for the crash. The bus was coming to Karachi from Bela. The bus was turned over after the breakage of tyrode of the bus. Ghulam Rasool and Shabbir Ahmed died on the spot meanwhile Nasreen, Nasrullah, Yasmin and Manzoor Ahmed died during the treatment.

The critically injured persons have been shifted in Karachi hospitals. The Levis force is investigating into the accident.

This comes hours after 62 people were killed in a deadly collision between a bus and an oil tanker on National Highway outside Karachi. At least six people were killed and over 20 others injured in a road accident here on Sunday.
