ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rasheed on Monday answered allegations of protesting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan by proposing two offers.
Pervaiz Rasheed offered Imran Khan to hold forensic test of ballot papers used in the polling stations of NA-122 constituency to prove it illegal.
The federal minister then offered that he will get resignation of the Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq if word ‘bogus’ was found in the investigation report.
Pervaiz alleged that Imran Khan was himself major cause of delay in the formation of judicial commission as Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) was not feared of probing the alleged vote rigging during 2013 general election.
He leveled severe allegations on the political opponent Imran Khan, said that he interrupted Operation Zarb-e-Azb in past through staging sit-ins and now he was trying to damage national unity against terrorism via establishment of military courts. Imran Khan always became strategic partners of terorrists, Pervaiz said. He added that PTI chief wanted to hold country-wide strike on December 16, the same date of Peshawar’s school carnage.
