Mobile phones banned in Sindh schools

KARACHI: Sindh government has come up with another ban for the masses as they announced ban on use of mobile phones in schools of Sindh.

The ban was announced by provincial education minister Nisar Khorro on Monday night and the ban will be applied to both students and staff of the schools.

The minister said that the ban will be applicable during schools hours.

Nisar Khoro also instructed education department implementation on the orders implemented immediately.

Sources said that the provincial government has cited the security reasons regarding the ban in wake of barbaric attack on the Peshawar Army Public School.

It is pertinent to mention here that as many as 150 people including 134 children were martyred on December 16 in the attack.

After that schools of the whole country were closed and winter vacations were also extended.

The schools of the province like other provinces reopened on Monday after vacations.
