Chaudhry Brothers, Zardari meet in Lahore

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-N) leaders Chaudhry Shujaat and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi held meeting with veteran politician and co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari in Lahore.

PPP and PML-Q leaders have held meeting in Bilawal House Lahore on Sunday (today) to discuss current political situation of the country.

21st Constitutional Amendment was key agenda of the discussion during the meeting underway in Lahore, local media reported.

Chaudhry Shujaat said that whole nation was standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Pakistani military in fight against terrorism.

On the event, Asif Ali Zardari said that the national leadership made most difficult decisions to implement peace in the country. He said that the government has responsibility to remove concerns of all political parties. He said that no war could be won without national consensus.
