Steven Smith breaks 67-year-old Sir Donald Bradman’s record

SYDNEY: Australian skipper Steven Smith is in the form of his life as he broke Sir Donald Bradman’s 67-year-old record.

Steven Smith smashed 71 in the 2nd innings of the 4th and last Test match breaking the record of Bradman of most runs in a four-match series.

In 1947-48 Bradman scored 715 runs in a four-match series, batting only in six innings, while Smith has made 769 runs batting in all 8 inning of the series.

Smith made four centuries and two half centuries at an average of 96.125 runs.

Former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting scored 706 runs in four-match series 11 year ago.
