PARIS: Following audacious attack on Charlie Hebdo magazine that killed 12 people revenge attacks on Muslim places of worship and anti-Muslim sentiments are on the rise in France.
Media reports said that mosques, prayer hall and a kebab shop were targeted immediately after the terrorist attack – in which 12 people were murdered by suspected Islamists.
Anti-Muslim sentiment and retaliatory attacks comes as French citizens tried to recover from the shocked attack on the satirical magazine which has a history of lampooning Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and had provoked violent protest across Muslim world many times through it highly-controversial cartoons of Islam’s sacred personalities.
