‘Maa Kis Ko Jhulaogi Jhoola’: Rahim Shah’s tribute to martyred APS studnets

KARACHI: Renowned Singer Rahim Shah has paid tribute to the martyred students of Peshawar’s Amry Public School (APS) in a different style, who recorded a song dedicated to the massacre victims.

According to Daily Express newspapers, the singer, who is himself an ethnic Pashtun, recorded the song titles as Maa Kis Ko Jhulaogi Jhoola.

The song is a revamped version of his previous classic Maa Mujh Ko Jhulao Na Jhoola. The music of the song has been composed by Shah himself.

The newspapers reported the singer as saying that as a nation Pakistanis should not be frightened after the Peshawar massacre, rather they should face the challenge with unity and cohesion.

It is to be mentioned here that on December 16 seven Taliban militants stormed an Army-run school in Peshawar and killed over 150 people including 134 students of the school. The massacre has shaken the nation and the country is yet to recover from the shock.
