MANAMA: Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday arrived in Bahrain on two-day official visit, during which he will hold negotiations with Bahamanian leadership for expanding cooperation between the two countries in various sectors primarily energy.
PM Nawaz left the country on Wednesday (today) on a two-day official visit to Bahrain for enhancement of bilateral ties as he would hold meetings with King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa and his counterpart Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
Various Bahraini minister will also hold meetings with PM Nawaz Sharif during the visit. PM Nawaz and delegates will hold delegation-level talks and one-on-one meeting with the King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Cooperation paths would be sought during the high-level visit for energy, employment, defence and trade and investments. PM Nawaz also aimed to improve bilateral economic ties and volume of trade with Bahrain which currently stands at 200 million dollars.
