Pillion riding ban announced in Sindh on Rabiul Awwal

KARACHI: Sindh government has banned pillion riding in five districts of the province for two days on the occasion of Eid-e-Millad Un Nabi (SAW).

The home department also has sent recommendation to federal government to ban mobile services on the occasion for same days.

The Sindh government has announced banned on pillion riding in five districts of the province, Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Jamshoro and Khairpur for two days on Saturday and Sunday on the days of 11th and 12th Rabiul Awwal eve of Eid-e-Milad Un Nabi (SAW).

The pillion ridding ban will be started from Friday- Saturday night at 12 am and to continue till 12 am Sunday-Monday night.

The provincial home department has also written a letter to federal Interior Ministry recommending ban on mobile phone services on the occasion as well.

Earlier, Sindh police had recommended pillion riding and mobile services ban to the provincial government on the occasion which has accepted.
