Governor Sindh approves establishment of three universities in province

KARACHI: Governor Sindh Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan on Thursday approved establishment of three universities in the province.

The Governor Sindh said that Altaf Hussain Universities will be made in Hyderabad and Karachi.

It is pertinent to mention here that Bahria Town Chairman Malik Riaz on November 27 had announced to establish universities in Karachi and Hyderabad.

He had addressed a press conference along with Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad, Malik Riaz and announced that the universities will be named after Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chairman Altaf Hussain.

He said the fee charged from the students will be much less than what they have to pay in state-run universities.

Malik Riaz said the construction of a university would be started in Karachi next month and announced that ‘martyrs’ of MQM will be given plots in Bahria Town.
