Two injured soldiers martyred by Indian forces unprovoked firing

LAHORE: Two ranger’s personnel who were injured in indiscriminate firing on Shakargarh sector earlier on Wednesday succumbed to injuries, Rangers spokesman said.

 The Punjab Rangers spokesman said that Naik Riyaz Shakir and lance naik Safder martyred on Wednesday evening and they were critically injured on today’s morning in Indian forces unprovoked firing  in Shakargarh sector.

The spokesperson said that Indian border forces had resorted to unprovoked firing ahead of FLAG meeting on Wednesday morning around 11 am.

The Indian forces firing were so much intense that the Punjab Rangers had to wait to pick up their injured officers which continued for hours..

It is pertinent to mention here that Chenab Rangers officers were going to meet local Indian officers for flag meeting where Border Security Forces had opened fire when they saw the officers coming towards the border.
