Terrorists with rejected mercy pleas should be executed immediately: Nisar

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has directed that terrorists on death row whose mercy pleas have been rejected should be executed immediately.

Nisar chaired the executive board meeting of NACTA at the PM House on Wednesday. The meeting was attended by the Secretaries of Defence, Foreign Affairs and Interior, Chief Secretaries of Sindh, Balochistan and Azad Kashmir and Home Secretaries of Punjab and Sindh.
The meeting discussed the anti-terrorism national action plan and representatives of the provinces were provided the document pertaining to it.

Interior Minister Nisar directed that the data of members of banned organisations should be collected.

The meeting reviewed implementation of 20-point counter terrorism national plan of action.
