RAWALPINDI: Fresh air strikes have successfully targeted 23 terrorists and their several hideouts in militant-held areas of the tribal agency North Waziristan, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said here on Wednesday.
Pakistan military jets started bombardment targeting militants’ hideouts and their hideouts in NWA on Wednesday evening (today) intensifying the military operation against insurgents.
At least 23 militants were killed in the attacks while the intense action resulted complete destruction of four hideouts. Aerial attacks were primarily carried out in Shawal tehsil, ISPR said.
Earlier on Friday, military air strikes had successfully targeted 23 terrorists and their underground tunnel system in militant-held areas of the tribal agency North Waziristan, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
At least 23 foreign militants including a prominent commander were killed in the attacks while strong underground tunnel system of terrorists was completely destroyed in the atttacks. Aerial attacks were carried out in Mada Khel, Meva Khel and Lataka parts of the agency which also destroyed terrorists’ weapons and explosives depot.
