New or experienced job seekers seem much confident over their professional and educational skills cum experiences which is definitely not an easy task to tackle the interviewers whom are observing each and every move during the interview meeting.

Here are few tips to avoid unintentional mistakes took place by the job seekers before employers:

1. Incomplete research: Every individual must prepare himself/herself to face a question from interviewer regarding the employer company and its name besides inquiring of modern trends of specific job opportunity. The interviewer could also observe how much you knew about his company while coming to an interview. Avoid delivering wrong answer, better is to say whatever you truly knew the market trends and company info.

2. Lack of practice: Always be prepared for a rapid and effective answer of actual questions which would be asked to observe your professional skills. If you have been stayed away from the job for some reasons due to unemployment, just practice again you skill before going to an interview despite being over confident.

3. Improper exposure, untidiness, late comers: Make sure you are looking tidy and neat enough with appropriate dress code assigned in the firm. You can gain points in sight of interviewer regarding ‘responsible behaviour’ if you are equipped with a pen and paper for taking notes besides carrying portfolio copies along with curriculum vitae. Arriving on proper time or minutes before given time (means up to five to ten minutes early) can leave a good impact on your employer.

4. Launching answers quickly before completion of interviewer’s question: Job-seeker must stay relax and stay calm as much as he/she could maintain. Pay attention and listen questions properly with an eye contact with the interviewer. Try to answer politely even the interviewer starts criticising on the profession and your previous firm. Actually, the interview is trying to check your temper values and dedication to your profession.

5. Highlighting skills not needed by the company: Try to be perfect in matching your professional skills with the employer’s requirement. Stop leaving the table with delivering a thank you note or send thank you note via email within 24 hours after your interview.
