KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon on Monday claimed that Uzair Baloch group of Lyari was supporting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The provincial minister was talking to private news channel program “Aaj Shahzaib Khanzada k sath”.
The minister was talking to program host regarding arrest of Uzair Baloch in Dubai; he said that Karachi operation will continue.
Sharjeel said that number of operations have been carried out in Lyari which was the highest number of operation in any area of metropolis.
Earlier in on Monday Interpol officials had arrested Lyari gang war accused Uzair Jan Baloch at Dubai International Airport.
According to reports, he was arrested on his arrival at Dubai International airport from Muscat by Interpol officials.
He is nominated in various criminals cases in Pakistan and leads one of the main Lyari gangs in Karachi.
