Police vans attacked by grenade in Karachi, no casualties

KARACHI: Sindh Police once again came under attack by assailants when a grenade was thrown on security officials’ vehicles in a densely populated North Nazimabad area of Karachi on Monday night.

Unidentified terrorists hurled a grenade on police mobile vans parked near Block-K of North Nazimbad area of the metropolis.

However, all security personnel on the location survived safe in the attack. Rapid retaliation of police officials have pushed back terrorists which later fled from the location.

The situation was later brought under control by law enforcement agency as the furious attacks spread extreme terror in the area.

Heavy contingents of law enforcement agencies deployed in the area while police cordoned off whole area and started a search operation.
