Mobile services ban likely in Sindh on 12th Rabi-Ul-Awal

KARACHI: Mobile phone services are likely to be banned on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal in big cities of Sindh as police will recommend the home department to consider this step in a meeting scheduled on Monday (today).

According to the details, Sindh police have convened an important meeting regarding peace and security on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal in the province on Monday (today).

The meeting will be attended by Additional IG Karachi, DIG Traffic, DIGs of all three zones and other high officials.

The meeting will discuss matters pertaining to peace and security. The high-level meeting will also consider banning mobile phone services in Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur.

The recommendation will be sent to provincial home department to ban mobile services in the province for 12th Rabi-ul –Awwal.
