KP Govt finalizes bill to monitor terrorist incident

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government on Sunday finalized a draft bill to check terrorist incidents.

Chief Minister (CM) Pervez Khattak in Peshawar reviewed the draft of legislation in a meeting in his chair.

As per the legislation, CCTV cameras would be installed on sensitive places and squares.

 

Private sector, including banks and schools, will be compelled to ensure their own security. Besides, the government will not impose additional taxes on public for security purposes.

The legislation will help in elimination of militancy and protection to public as well as sensitive places.

After barbaric attack on Peshawar attack federal government as well as provincial governments have beefed up measures to ensure security in their respective area.
