Amir Khan to establish boxing academy in Pakistan

LAHORE: Pakistani origin British boxer Amir Khan on Sunday visited Data Darbar and prayed for safety and prosperity of Pakistan.

The Pakistani origin boxer also laid a wreath on the shrine of the saint and told media that he also prayed for the martyrs of Peshawar carnage. He said he was saddened by the tragedy and would try to visit Peshawar as well.

Replying to a question, he said that he had signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a boxing academy.
Khan said that there was no lack of talent in Pakistan, adding that he wanted to dispel the notion that Pakistan was an unsafe country.
