Police arrest two more robbers in Edhi center robbery case, more money recovered

KARACHI: Police on Tuesday night arrested two more robbers involved in robbery at Edhi center and recovered nine million rupees from their possession, Karachi police chief Ghulam Qadir Thebo said.

The police chief said that four accused have been arrested in connection with the Edhi center robbery.

He said that earlier police had arrested two accused and recovered 25 million rupees from their possession.

Ghulam Qadir expressed optimism that two more accused will be arrested soon..

It is pertinent to mention here that the head office of the country’s leading charity organisation headed by renowned and widely respected philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi was robbed on October 19. The robbers had taken away about Rs30 million worth of gold and cash.
