Boxer Amir Khan dedicates recently-won title to Peshawar martyrs

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan-origin British boxer Amir Khan has dedicated his silver light welterweight title to the martyrs of Peshawar’s Army Public School.

Talking to media at a press conference in Islamabad, he said, “I stand with the victims’ families in this moment of sorrow and I am ready at all time if the government needs my help for education of Pakistani students.”

The boxer also dedicated the silver light welterweight title to martyrs of Peshawar that he won recently by defeating US boxer Devon Alexander.

He had earlier donated 30,000 pound worth gold shorts to heirs of Peshawar victims.

It is pertinent to mention here that the boxer had won the silver light welter weight title on December 14 at US city of Las Vegas by defeating US boxer Devon Alexander.
