PTI schedules its first public rally of 2015 in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) announced on Tuesday to hold a public gathering in the federal capital Islamabad on January 17.

PTI leadership announced date to organise a public rally in the federal capital of Pakistan scheduled in the beginning month of new year 2015. The rally will be organised once again at D-Chowk venue where PTI lodged months long anti-government sit-ins.

The decision was taken by strategic committee of the political party, however, the agenda of the political show was not revealed so far.

It should be mentioned here that PTI had lodged 126-day long sit-ins against Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) government over alleged vote rigging during 2013’s general election.

However, PTI chairman Imran Khan had announced to end the anti-government protests after Peshawar school carnage via saying that ‘unity was now basic need of the country to fight against terrorism.’
