ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday formally announced war against terrorism that would be fought under his commandment.
Pakistan formally announced ‘war against terrorism’ followed by statement of top political personality, PM Nawaz Sharif, on Tuesday (today) who himself declared to be the commander of the anti-terrorism war begun by the country.
PM Nawaz Sharif vowed that the country would take the war against terrorism to a logical end at any cost.
Earlier, PM Nawaz had announced for spreading operational measures into cities besides continuing ongoing military-led Operation Zarb-e-Azb in tribal parts of the country.
Pakistan has now entered into state of war aimed to root out internal terrorism followed by prominent measures after deadly incident of Peshawar, where at least 149 persons were killed by militants at a military-run Army Public School on December 16.
In the first phase of strict decisions against criminals, Pakistan ended years long death penalty moratorium and implemented the capital punishment via executing six convicts in terrorism cases.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) led federal government invited all parliamentary powers to share table against the serious internal threats of terrorism after pushing behind all differences.
