Peshawar carnage: Pakistan govt decides to call joint parliament session

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan government has decided to hold joint parliament session on December 24 (tomorrow) in order to discuss Peshawar school carnage.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had showed concerns to call joint parliament session immediately after occurrence of Peshawar school attack which claimed at least 149 lives and injured several others, sources said.

However, the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) led federal government all set to call joint parliament session soon in Islamabad after completion of upper house, Senate, session also discussing Peshawar attack.

National action plan against terrorism is likely to be approved in upcoming session, sources said.
