IHC suspends special court orders of co-accused trio in Musharraf treason case

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday has suspended the order of special court of involving Shaukat Aziz, Zahid Hamid and Abdul Hameed Dogar as co-accused in treason case.

According to reports, IHC’s senior judge Athar Minallah has stopped special court from further proceedings due extension of  power.

The applications was filed against the decision of special court involving Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, Former Chief Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar and Zahid Hamid as co-accused in the treason case.

Athar Minallah add joined the next proceeding from February 3rd and it will continue on daily bases.

The special bench had issued orders in the case on November 22. Musharraf defence team was led by counsel Farogh Nasim.
