Commissioner Karachi bans new year celebration in wake of Peshawar attack

KARACHI:  Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed Siddique in wake of barbaric attack on Army Public School in Peshawar has announced to cancel all events related to New Year celebrations in the metropolis.

The commissioner Karachi also banned all activities, events in any hotel or any other building whatsoever on the occasion of New Year celebrations.

The commissioner said that new year celebrations will not be allowed as national tragedy occurred just 15 days ago and the nation is still in grip of sorrow.

The commissioner Karachi decision has reflected sentiments of whole nation as the nation lost 149 persons including 134 innocent children in barbaric manner.
