Karachi Airport attack: Non-bailable arrest warrant of TTP chief Fazlullah, others issued

KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court on Saturday issued non-bailable arrest warrant of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan chief Mullah Fazlullah, Shahidullah Shahid and others in Karachi airport attack case.

According to reports, the ATC judge conducted hearing of Karachi Airport attack case during which the police submitted final challan.

On June 8, militants launched an audacious assault at Karachi airport. At least 37 people were killed including ten terrorists.

The TTP had claimed responsibility for what was the first large-scale terrorist attack at the country’s largest airport.

On Saturday, the ATC issued non-bailable warrant of arrests of the accused including TTP fugitive chief Mullah Falullah, former TTP spokesman Shahidullah Sahid and others. An under investigation accused, Master Essa, was freed for want of evidence.
