Peshawar carnage death toll reaches 146 with five new deaths

PESHAWAR: Five more lost their lives on Wednesday (today) crossing the death toll up to 144 which sustained serious injuries in Peshawar school attack carried out by Taliban insurgent on December 16 (yesterday).

The deceased include two students and three staff members of the unlucky military-run Army Public School in the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhw (KP).

The persons were under treatment in Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Peshawar which succumbed injuries today.

It is noteworthy to mention here that at least 16 more injured persons amongst the Peshawar victims were receiving medical treatment in Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar while three amongst them were declared ‘serious’.

Pakistan faced serious terrorism bid in shape of violent attack on an military-run educational institution, Army Public School, in the provincial capital Peshawar of the Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province which was later claimed by banned militant outfit, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Molvi Fazlullah group.
