ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has said that the country will boost bilateral ties with Sudan in every sector, especially in trade, economic and defence fields.
The president expressed his views while talking to ambassador of Sudan in Pakistan Alshafie Ahmed Mohamed, who paid a farewell call on him in Islamabad on Monday (today).
The two leaders discussed Pak-Sudan bilateral relations and regional situation.
Mamnoon said that both the countries should continue searching mutual avenues for future cooperation to increase volume of trade between the two countries.
The president hoped that proposed 3rd round of Pak-Sudan Joint Ministerial Commission would be held early next year, which would more enhance bilateral economic cooperation.
The President praised that the two countries have extended support to each other at different regional and international forums and expressed resolve for fostering bilateral collaboration in diverse fields to the mutual benefits of the people of both countries.
