Lahore lockdown: PTI stage sit-ins in different areas of city

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has started protests in Lahore against the alleged rigging in 2013 elections.

The PTI has given shut down strike for Monday. Meanwhile PTI has selected as many as 18 points to stage protests.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan will visit at least 6 of those points.

According to the details, PTI leadership has selected 18 locations in Lahore to stage the protest. Khan will also address the participants at 6 of the 18 locations.

The selected locations include Thokar Niaz Baig, Shahdara, Babu Sabu, GT Road, Chungi Amar Sadhu, Mall Road, PMG Chowk, High Court Chowk, Mozang Chungi, Bekhewal Morr, Akbar Chowk, Liberty Market, Bhatta Chowk, Mughalpura, Shalamar, Jorray Pul, Bhati Chowk and Shah Alam Circular Road. The traffic on these points have been suspended from 7:00 am.
