DUBAI: Interpol on Sunday arrested former senator Saifur Rehman from Dubai airport on the charges of corruption but the senator was released after six hours on the government intervention, Dunya News reported.
According to the report former senator and accountability bureau chairman was arrested on corruption charges in Lahore Motorway which he had signed with China.
He was arrested by interpol and he was wanted to Natioanl Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Later on intervention of Pakistani government he was released, the report said.
Another news channel Geo aired his tickers in which he rejected the news of his arrest and release from Dubai Airport.
