Nisar contacts Sindh high-ups to discuss Karachi lockdown

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Thursday phoned Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad to discuss Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) shutter down call in Karachi.

The Minister also has telephone to Director General Sindh Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar and Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah as who also has portfolio of home ministry.

The Minister said that everyone has a right of protest and the government will allow them to hold protest however, the government will not allow any body to take law into their hand on the name of protest.

The Governor Sindh also agreed to the Minister opinion that protest was democratic right of the every party but no anyone will be allowed to disturb law and order situation on the name of protest.

The Minster directed high officials of Sindh government and law enforcement agencies to take strict security measures on the shutter down call of the PTI.
