KARACHI: Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Shaikh Rasheed expressed his wishes for Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) supremo to welcome PTI chief Imran Khan same as Altaf Hussain adopted the move in past.
It is noteworthy to mention here that PTI’s Imran Khan announced to hold anti-government protest on December 12 in the MQM stronghold Karachi, the metropolis of Pakistan.
Shaikh Rasheed while talking to reporters on Jinnah International Airport in Karachi alleged that he does not want to be opposition leader anymore as the image of the assembly was suspicious.
The political ally of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Shaikh Rasheed, claimed that the country would face more deteriorated situation if Faisalabad like incident repeated in the provincial capital Lahore of Punjab.
He predicted that the dialogues cannot move forward in such situation.
AML chief refuted expectation to meet MQM leadership in Karachi, however, the leader claimed that he would depart for 90 on request of Imran Khan as he has years long good relations with MQM.
He said that PTI was completely independent in making decision whether to pay visit to MQM’s 90 or not. However, they wished for Altaf Hussain to welcome Imran Khan again.
