ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Spokesman Dr Musadiq Malik has said that the planned talks between government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would cement democracy in the country.
Addressing a press conference, Malik said that the resumption of stalled talks between the government and PTI was a good omen for democracy. He underlined the need of harmony  and unity in the ranks of political leadership of the county, adding that the crucial anti-militancy operation, Zarb-e-Azb, has entered in its final phase.
Malik maintained that the military had gained major successes in the ongoing operation, saying that the Internally Displaced Peoples (IDPs) would be provided conducive environment.
Regarding the recent Supreme Court decision, the prime minister spokesman said that the apex court had dismissed all the petitions seeking disqualification of the prime minister.
He said that the people would hear good news about electricity price, as government is planning to cut power tariff within next two days.
