LAHORE: A member of government negotiation team, Ahsan Iqbal, has sounded optimistic about the prospect of negotiations with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, saying that the government negotiation team was receiving positive signals from the PTI.
He said that the both the parties were moving in the right direction for resuming dialogue to settle the ongoing political crisis.
He called for settling all issues through dialogue.
Regarding constitution of a judicial commission to probe the alleged rigging in last general elections, he said that there was no delay in the constitution of the commission.
It is to be mentioned here that the government on Wednesday unconditionally invited PTI for negotiation to resolve the ongoing political impasse. PTI welcomed the invitation and announced a two member team to resume talks with the government.
