Long wait ended, International Cricket team arrives in Pakistan

LAHORE: International Cricket finally resumed in Pakistan, as Kenya Cricket team squad arrived at Allama Iqbal International airport in Lahore early on Wednesday.

According to reports, the security was on high alert at the arrival of Kenyan Cricket team while huge number of police personnel were deployed on the entrance and exit ways of the airport.

The team was taken to Pakistan cricket academy where team will stay during the Tour. Kenya team will play five One-day matches against Pakistan A team.


Kenya’s team consists of 16 members and 22 people, including six members of the team.

Matches will start from December 13 till 20th of the same month at Gaddafi International stadium Lahore.

This is the first visit by an international team since 2009 where Sri Lankan cricket team was attacked on their way to the stadium.
