Harris , Shahid snatch victory from New Zealand

DUBAI: Pakistan has beaten New Zealand by three wickets in first one day match of a five match series in Dubai.

Harris Sohail declared man of the match as he scored 86 runs. The green shirts half of the player were sent pavilion by the kiwis just on 85 runs.

But Harris Sohail and Shahid Afridi partnership for seventh wicket made Pakistan successful in the match.

 

Earlier New Zealand had set target of 246 on loss of 7 wickets which included century of Ross Taylor who scored  105 without losing his wicket.

From Pakistan side Muhammad Irfan took three wickets, Wahab Riyaz got two and Afridi took one wicket.

Dl Vettori and JDS Neesham took two wickets each while KD Mills and McCullum got one wicket each.
