LAHORE: Finally long wait came to an end as Kenyan Cricket team is all set to arrive in Pakistan on December 10 at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
This is the first visit by an international cricket team since 2009 incident in Lahore. Kenya Cricket Board agreed to send their team to Pakistan after the assurance from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Kenyan team will play five match One-Day series against Pakistan A team in Gaddafi Stadium.
Police in Lahore carried out a search operation on Saturday-Sunday night in areas near Gaddafi Stadium ahead of the series against Kenya which is expected to revive international cricket in Pakistan.
Sources said that the police have collected data of residents living around the stadium. The police also instructed the residents to inform the police before giving their houses on rent.
The sources added that police had directed the residents to thoroughly inquire about the people whom they were going to give their houses on rent.
The series between the two teams will be started from December 13.
